Starting primary school is a major milestone for both your child and you. Lets make it easier

“Emily’s workshop offered timely guidance on how to best support my sensitive 4 year old as she started school, particularly around developing healthy attachments to peers and teachers. This has helped her thrive over the last year. Emily also shared some great ideas for daily family habits.”
— J Shepherd
“I loved all the creative ideas for helping my child feel settled in the run up to school. It helped me feel calm as much as it helped my daughter”
— J Conway
“I was so nervous about my sensitive 5 year old starting school I went to 5 different workshops! Emily’s was by far the most insightful and calming to my nerves. I loved the PDF freebie games we will be doing them this summer. Thoroughly recommend this free workshop”

About Your Host Emily Hughes Conscious Parenting Coach

Hi I am Emily a Conscious Parenting Coach, Somatic Therapist, Ex Teacher and Mum of 2. I work with parents (with children of all ages) to let go of what's not serving them so they can rise into inner trust and handle any parenting situation with calm, sturdy confidence.I work 1:1, with couples and with groups to help parents get intentional and consciously aware in their parenting. I use a parent centric body based approach to identify the limiting beliefs, patterns, mindsets and conditioning that are keeping parents stuck.

When people enter a career they often get Continuing Professional Development, mentoring, review meetings and even coaching… but in parenting we get close to nothing… and why? Parenting is important work, perhaps the most important work and it deserves support and reflection.

Parents who come to see me leave inspired and empowered. I offer clients practical strategies based in nonviolent communication and nervous system awareness but we also do the deeper work to discover what fears and patterns might be in the way from you being able to use the strategies.  Non parents can also come and see me in my work as a somatic therapist.
